HTC One X and HTC EVO 4G LTE Blocked by Apple in U.S
After the recent advances of the Google Oracle trial, it was the turn of HTC to suffer the wrath of a competitor: Apple.
Two of its flagship models are stranded at U.S. borders by the ITC (International Trade Commission).
Apple has effectively seized the authority of international trade, to prevent the arrival of HTC X One (AT&T) and HTC EVO 4G(Sprint) on American soil.
Once again, the firm at Apple believes that several of its patents were violated by HTC …
For now, the ITC has simply delayed the marketing of two smartphones to allow time for U.S. Customs to monitor compliance with stocks.
HTC, which had changed its smartphones to not violate Apple’s patents, says he thinks and works actively in accordance with the rules.
It seems that Apple does not share this view since he seized the authorities on this matter by December 2011.
In all cases, this delay does not help matters for HTC. By depriving him of placing on the market two flagships, the ITC is sinking further into uncertainty. Between 11 and 17 May (at the time of this writing), the action HTC has also lost 6.66%, a bad omen?
So, especially if you have an HTC X, which you do nothing with, and friends in the States, do not hesitate to send them your smartphone, it will please Apple!
