Create backups easily with Go Backup
And another new application comes to the fore by the hand of the Go Dev Team, and like others, useful and very attractive. This time it’s an app for backing up some of our phone data in order to restore them later.
Go Backup can create backup copies of your messages, contacts, or call log, as to what is “basic”. Then there are other options like making a copy of the preferences of our Go Launcher, so if we restore our phone, we have our desktop in a flash as it was.
But if we exploit all the possibilities we have our root terminal, and if so gives us the option to restore the application data and perform the installation “silently” without having to worry about anything.
The first thing to do is create an account, allowing us to have different backups for different profiles and in the near future, not very distant, the ability to save our copy in the cloud. To make copies is as easy as clicking the button below, which clearly says “Backup”, which shows a list of things to save, where we can make all or only those that interest us. After you click on “Start Backup,” and we hope (the time depends on the data to save).
To restore a copy, simply launch the application and see a list of different backups that we have made after the date. Select our interests and give us back the ability to select what we want to restore. So, if you only want to retrieve the contacts or messages, but no applications or configuration of the launcher, we can do.
Within the setup menu, there are not many options, but neither are they necessary. We can select the folder where we want to keep the backups, select only contacts with the phone number, or activate/deactivate the copy of application data and the silent install should be root.
And of course, say that the application interface, while it is as simple, is very nice, like all kids do, Dev Team Go. It may be more for backups, but it never hurts to have options to choose from and who is coming from, it’s a safe bet.
